The other Mies van der Rohe house
Ludwig Mies van der Rohe was one of the 20th century’s most important and influential architects. Born in Germany, he moved to the United States in 1937. Many of his most important works stand in and around Chicago, Illinois. While the Farnsworth House is perhaps the most famous of the homes he designed, another house, now connected to the Elmhurst Museum, is about to undergo renovation.
