“An adaptive reuse project on a grand scale”—2017 Modernism in American Awards

Begun in 2014, the Modernism in America Awards seek to celebrate projects and programs that successfully preserve, restore, and reuse some of the best examples of mid-century Modern architecture in the United States. The award program is held by DOCOMOMO, an organization dedicated to the documentation and conservation of the Modern Movement. The winners for 2017 have just been announced.
