World Heritage Centre’s State of conservation reports now online

Each year, the World Heritage Committee meets to consider nominations of natural and cultural sites submitted by various countries for inclusion in the World Heritage List. In addition, the WHC reviews reports on the state of conservation of specific sites that are considered to be threatened or endangered by either natural or human action. The next WHC meeting is scheduled for July in Krakow, Poland. In advance of this meeting, the WHC has made the state of conservation reports for 154 World Heritage properties available online for public consumption.
