Libraries as Tourist Attractions

Many of the most famous libraries of the world are known not only for their extensive archival collections but also for their elaborate architecture and the art and sculpture housed within them. This writer encourages tourists to visit some of Italy’s historic libraries in addition to its more well-known Roman and Renaissance sites scattered across the country.
