On the occasion of Frank Lloyd Wright’s 150th birthday, renewed interest in his iconic architectural

Frank Lloyd Wright was one of the most important American architects of the 20th century, and a tremendous influence internationally for his distinctive mid-century modern architectural style. A group of his US buildings have been put on the US tentative list for nomination to the World Heritage List; while the nomination was referred for additional information at the World Heritage meeting last summer in Istanbul (interrupted by the unsuccessful coup!), US officials hope the renewed nomination will be successful.
