All above-ground roads lead to Rome

One of the many important infrastructure projects of Ancient Rome was the construction of a vast road network that provided for important communication, trade, and military control over such as vast territory. An enterprising artist has now re-imagined the Appian Way as part of as extensive Ancient Roman subway system.
