Frank Lloyd Wright—from Fallingwater to Unity Temple's "triumphant" restoration

Frank Lloyd Wright (1867-1959) was one of the most important and influential American architects. A leader of what was termed the Prairie School Movement, Wright designed numerous residences, office buildings, and other buildings, and his writings and philosophy contributed substantially to ideas about community planning and design. Last year, a group of 10 Frank Lloyd Wright buildings, including Fallingwater in Pennsylvania (above), were nominated to the World Heritage List, but the nomination was deferred for additional information. Another of his nominated buildings—Unity Temple—another of the nominated buildings—was recently completed restored and, according to this architectural critic, triumphantly.
