US National Parks continue expansive contribution to US economy

Following record visitation, national parks in the United States continue to contribute mightily to the US economy. In 2016, the National Park Service demonstrates park visitation and related activities contributed nearly $35 billion to the US economy—a nearly $3 billion increase from the year before.
