Climate change is not the only threat to Natural World Heritage Sites

The effects of climate change on some of the natural world's most beautiful sites has been well documented—from melting glaciers to increased forest fires to coastal flooding. What should not get lost in the climate change discussion, however, is the continuing threat of human action, particularly poaching, iliegal logging, and other activities that threaten these natural sites on the World Heritage list.
