Cultural exchanges in the spirit of reciprocity and mutual benefit

In advance of the upcoming G7 summit, to be held May 26-27, 2017 in Taormina, Sicily, Italy, the Ministers of Culture of the G7 nations (Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, United Kingdom, United States, and the European Union) held the first ever G& Ministerial Meeting on Culture, which was held March 30-31, 2017 in Florence, Italy. The joint declaration issued from the summit re-affirms the importance of safeguarding cultural heritage worldwide and the importance of cultural exchanges in these efforts.
