Modernist masterpiece to be centerpiece of a new motion picture
Mies van der Rohe was one of the most important and influential architects of the mid-20th century. The story around the design and execution of one of his most iconic houses in the United States--the Farnsworth House in Illinois—is about to get the Hollywood treatment. The movie will focus on the tense relationship between the architect and Dr. Edith Farnsworth, the woman who commissioned the house.
