Climate change is affecting America's best idea

Melting glaciers, more extensive forest fires from increased drought, onslaughts of destructive insects into ecosystems that were previously inhospitable to them—all are posing dire threats to the great American landscape scattered across US National Parks. This writer looks at the upcoming challenges, from the imperiled landscapes to the lack of funding resources to the potential new policies of the incoming presidential administration.
