The Secrets that lie within the Round Tower

The British royal family can seem like the most public and most private of families at the same time. While so much of the palace intrigue is reported, or conjectured upon, in both the mainstream and tabloid press, the general public never seems to lose their fascination. Yet the Royal Archives established by King George V in 1914, now housed in the Round Tower at Windson Castle, are both little known and remain out of public sight. The lack of public accessibility to these archives is in stark contrast to the rules providing public access to Britian's National Archives. This researcher gained a rare glimpse
