Seeking National Park status for Forts Sumter and Moultrie

Forts that were important during both the American Revolution and the US Civil War stand guard in the harbor across from the historic city of Charleston. While both forts have been designated national monuments, a South Carolina senator has introduced a bill to make them national parks.
