New statues of Aphrodite found at Petra

The ancient Nabataean site of Petra in Jordan has been revealing tantalizing archaeological finds for centuries. Recently, a group of North Carolina State University discovered two marble statues of Aphrodite as part of the Petra North Ridge Project.
