Heritage tree arrested in Pakistan!

Heritage trees may mark important events, be associated with important individuals, or may simply gain heritage status due to their age. One tree in Pakistan gained its notoriety by being “arrested” in 1898. While the Banyan tree was not likely to escape, it still is held in chains.
