In 2015, stories abounded about the horrific destruction of ancient monuments by ISIS in the Syrian city of Palmyra. Now that ISIS has been forced to retreat from portions of northern Syria, evidence of more extensive destruction—this time at the ancient site of Tal Ajaja.
