From Radiant City to a canvas for contemporary art

Le Corbusier’s Unité d'Habitation in Marseille was constructed between 1945 and 1952. Designed with the same principles has Le Corbusier’s Radiant City (1920s but never constructed), the Unite’ d’Habitation was recently added to the World Heritage list along with numerous other works of this master 20th-century architect. Swiss artist Felice Varini has used the historic building as a temporary canvas for his art.
