“What the parks are worth to the public”

A new study, sponsored by the Second Century Commission, sought to evaluate the worth of the American national park system to the public. While the National Parks routinely score highly in public favorability surveys, this study found that the US public is actually willing to pay much more to preserve these national assets than is currently spent on them.
