Donald G Jones, PhD, Founder & Owner

Dr. Jones is the founder and owner of the International Heritage News Network, based in Washington, DC. Dr. Jones has over 25 years of professional experience in the heritage sector. He served as Director of US/ICOMOS (the United States National Committee of the International Council on Monuments and Sites) from August 2011 through September 2014. US/ICOMOS is a private, non-profit, non-governmental organization that is part of a world-wide network of professionals dedicated to the conservation and preservation of our global cultural heritage. He is currently an adjunct faculty member of Johns Hopkins University’s MA Program in Cultural Heritage Management (see his full bio).
Christopher C. Celauro, Consultant
Chris brings his enthusiasm for technology and museums to the International Heritage News Network. He has worked with online technology in museums at The Phillips Collection and National Geographic (click links to see examples of his work). He chaired a session on Museums and Technology at a National Art Education Association’s Annual Meeting. As a graduate student, he compiled slavery research on Dumbarton House and wrote his thesis on the topic of slavery in Washington, DC. He holds degrees from Tufts University, English and Museum Studies, BA/Certificate; American University, Public Anthropology, MA; Boston University, Web Development, Certificate.
